placeholderAfter training in Vancouver for two years in a number of jewellery techniques, including smithing, enameling, stone setting and casting, Jocelyn Harris graduated from the jewellery art and design program at VCC. Immediately she began to pursue her new found passion.

“I believe in the beauty of simplicity and try to reflect that in my classic and timeless designs. By considering the natural curves and movement of the body against the metal I am able to create elegant and comfortable, one of a kind, pieces of ‘wearable art’.

I like to draw inspiration from my surroundings and am constantly working on new designs to share with the public. The Sea to Sky corridor has held many opportunities for me as an emerging artist who is dedicated to sharing my vision with other jewellery lovers.”

You can find Jocelyn’s work on display in select galleries in Squamish, at countless events held in Pemberton and coming soon to Whistler. Currently, she is working out of her studio in Pemberton, BC and is now preparing for her debut at the famed Whistler Bizarre Bazaar 2010.
